Sunday 13th April

2 pics of me (above taken yesterday) and on the left - taken earlier today. Looking SO like I need to DIET NOW. I am not happy at all at this weight , I'm not. And there's only me can do anything about it.

Monday 14th April 2008

Weight - 151 lbs (10 st 11 lbs)
Loss/Gain - Stayed same AGAIN

I think my scales are stuck!!!!!!! Looks lovely out, makes it easier to get up out of bed when the sun is shining.

11am - Just did 20 minutes brisk walk on the treadmill.

Ok.....forget about the scales. Am going to have a good week. R and I have said to each other that WE ARE going to the gym on Wed after school - I WILL take along her gym bag and WE WILL catch the bus to Prenton and we WILL go to the gym and enjoy it!!!!! Actually when we get there we do enjoy it - we gotta get there first!

Been having a sort out of clothes and I have put EVERYTHING that does not fit me on the bed (outta the wardrobe/drawers - there is a mountain of clothes on the bed - blocking out the light from the window. There are 3 items (2 jackets and a skirt) in my wardrobe that fit me. I don't have any clothes to wear now Arghghghghghghg. I have SO many things that don't fit me it is unbelievable.
I am going to get a big box out of the attic and put all these clothes in it - I need to lose at least 20 lbs for a chance of any of them fitting.
There's no point in them cramming up the wardrobe. I say to Neil "I've got nothing to wear" and I am sure he dosn't believe me (well who would if you looked in the wardrobe). Truly - none of them fit, well ok, a few things might just about, but are too tight for comfort. I need to lose some weight so I can get into the damn things! There's some nice stuff I would love to wear for the summer (yes we will have a summer).
Am now down to one pair of jeans/one pair of jogging bottoms/several tops/the dress I wore for the Xmas works party and 2 cardigans -
daggy/skanky clothes....Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. And I hate baggy clothes and elasticated waists and frumpy looking stuff and BLACK and jogging pants (unless in the gym) and baggy t-shirts - I want pretty stuff, nice stuff - and I do have some - but they DON'T FIT - damn and blast.

Took R to the MEND programme after school, we walked there. She had a great time, they played basketball and we had a discussion on food groups. She has 2 tasks to do each day for the next week - to have breakfast every day and to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. We always have breakfast, so we will need to make an effort with the water.

Tuesday 15th April 2008

So so day in work. Did 15 mins on treadmill in eve and also went on trampoline for about 10 minutes (seemed like half an hour!). R also went on trampoline for about half an hour. Tired (11pm now) and ready t sink into bed. Did have a few (3) glasses of wine tonight cos I felt like it, (small glasses)

My 2 fave programmes were on tonight - How To Look Good Naked with Gok and The Diets That Time Forgot - I enjoyed watching these.

Wed 16th April

J and his friend are going to see Simple Plan in Manchester tonight. I would have liked to have gone but it was a standing only concert (am too knackered for this)!
Nice sunny morning (with frost). Work in about 15 minutes (is 7.45am). Am only in half day today. Neil is also only in half day as he has to come home to run the lads to Manchester after they get home from school.

J was supposed to be going to the Simple Plan gig in Manchester Academy (tonight)with his friend Dan, but last minute Dan could not go so poor J had a mad ring round all his friends/family to see who could go. Looked like none could (so I said I'd go). Luckily last minute one of his friends Jordon (really nice girl) said she'd go with him, (she comes here to do singing now and then). And even more luckily one of the nurses in work, her hubby was going with a friend of his so they are getting a lift there and back though Neil was prepared to run them there and back also. - J and J were both looking forward to the gig. I'm glad he found someone to go with, wish I was going!
Cool!!!! Simple Plan

R went on the trampoline for a short while earlier. I feel a bit yucky (headachey/cold/sicky) so could not face the trampoline. If there is nothing on telly worth watching later I might have an early night, though will probably wake up when J comes home from Manchester so I know he's ok and had a great time. Neil is always up very late.

10 past midnight - J and J said the gig was AMAZING! They were right at the front too. Neil has just run J home with J.......and our J is having pizza when he gets back (typical!)

Sat 19th April 2008

Oh it's cold. Nothing planned for tiday as yet. J, Neil and R are listening to music downstairs and chatting about the 1850 Project. I am supposed to be looking round for a venue for it and booking it ASAP. They are having the GIG on Saturday 28th March 2009 - yes I know it's a year away but there's tons to do and they have lots of rehearsing to do. I remember thinking, several months ago - OMG they don't need to be worrying about rehearsing NOW......but I can see that they do - they want it to be perfect on the night!

First things first, they need to get the WHOLE band rehearsing. Their bass player has yet to come along to a rehearsal, although he has been practising stuff at home and Neil and J are happy with that (since he is brill bass player). But they do need to get together and get playing together. J gets quite stressed about it all.

They need to make sure rehearsals are good ones (at £35+ a time) - Neil originally wanted one every other week so at £70 a month, well, can't really afford it, plus the £££ for the Studio time to create the CD (£130 per time). Arghghghghghg

Plenty of housework to be getting on with this weekend - after I have a cup of tea!!!!! Got up at 8am, went to bed early last night though as felt yucky. I'd like for us all to go out at somw point later for a walk, anywhere real;ly, as long as we get out. We are very skint at moment so can't go anywhere that costs money.

Bit of a nothing day really - too tired, feel too yucky

Sunday 20th April

Felt yucky again, slept in for ages. Got up, got no energy though. Went to JJB's as need new jogging pants for R - got them on the JJB card, got 2 pairs of jogging pants, a t-shirt and 2 pairs of shorts ofr £30 which I thought was pretty cheap as they are good makes. R is in desperate need of pants that fit.
Other than that, have done nothing. Neil tidied kitchen. Might try and get R to do the Walk Away the Pounds dvd later (me too). The other night we did just over a mile. The Leslie Sansone DVD is great for those times when you want to exercise but don't want to go out, plus it is fun. Usually when R and I do it we end up laughing so much. You can do 1,2,3,4 or 5 miles - it really is a GREAT workout to do at home and doesn;t involve any awkward movements. And as daft as it seems, it is NOT boring.
Well it's almost 6.30pm. R said she dos not have any homework. Am going to see if I can get her to so the dvd with me.

R and I did 1 mile which is better than nothing. I said we ought to do one mile for a week, then next week do 2 mile and so on.
