Loss/Gain - Stayed the same
Lbs to lose - About 33
Kids
in school today - they break up this week for Easter. J's last day is
Wed and R's is Thursday. Nice
sunny day out. I enjoyed walking R to school. Neil has ordered me a weighted
hula hoop ( I'll let you know Rachel, if I can do it!). RAchel said the
weighted ones were easier to do!!! I cannot do the hula hoop, but would
love to. Apparently the weighted ones are good exercise!
Should be doing allsorts and everything (ie housework) but am not in the
mood so am actually doing nothing much in particular.
The weighted hula hoop came! It has an instruction
DVD with it and a w40 minute workout section. THEY make it look SO EASY!
It is easier than a normal hula hoop, but I still can't get the hang of
it for long. R and I are going to 'crack' this and by the end of the summer
be hula hopping for AGES!
Was not so ggo with food today (eg Pizza!) but is very difficult to eat
healthily when you don't have a lot of food in (Which we don't at moment
till pay day). Ah well.
Work tomorrow (oh yippeee do da) - that is how I feel about it at the
moment. |
Tuesday 18th March 2008
Tonight
Neil and I watched The Diets That Time Forgot - it was quite interesting.
Basically they have taken 6 people, put them in a large victorian house.
3 of them are following a Victorian diet, 3 are following an Edwardian diet
and 3 are following a 1920's diet. They have to dress in the clothing of
the time, so the exercise popular at that time etc. This is on every week
for however many weeks, think I'll be glued to this one!
Managed to get through the day with no binging/over-snacking. Did a bit
of hula hooping before (still can't get the hang of it) and now my ribs
are sore! Meant to go on the treadmill but was too tired. |
Thursday 20th March 2008
We
are all going out for a meal tonight, a kind of late Mothers Day one and
well, cos I want to and cos J is a bit stressed out with school and R
did SO well in the music eve at school last night and Neil likes eating
out - so there you go - we are going out for a meal!!! It is booked for
8pm. I had my lunch at 1pm and now I am starving hungry (it is 6.45pm)
It is cold, I am feeling cold. Work was fine, not in now till Tuesday.
Haven't bought any Easter Eggs yet, hope it isn't just the expensive ones
left when I finally get round to buying some. No plans for the weekend
cept to keep sane, relax, exercise, don't eat too much, relax, visit mum
and dads and Neils mum and dads, relax and exercise!!!!!

Friday 21st March 2008
Went out to Sainsburys in the morning
which was mad, you'd think the shops were going to be shut for a week
(when only shut on Sunday)..people just going mad buying. We had breakfast
in Sainsburys (why not) and all had a nice time chatting. Then we ran
J to Birkenhead cos he is going to the cinema with his girlfriend
Next Sunday (not this one coming) J and
Neil are going to a recording studios in E/Port to start recording their
cd for the 1850 Project (which is going to take place in March 2009).
J is determined that it will go PERFECTLY on the night (yep - a year away,
but it is amazing how time flys). I am going to be in charge of booking
a venue. Basically next year is J's 18th and Neil's 50th (hence the 1850
Project - which is what the band is called). In the band is J, Neil, Tony
Longworth (he has a band called Flesh Resonance who do very well also
he does film music for independant film makers, meinly horror/futeristic
etc, he used to work with Neil is Port Sunlight but now works in Sale
Manchester) he will be playing bass, then there is Chris who is J's cousin
( in a band called The Foundry who do gigs). So
the band has a brill drummer (Chris), a fab bassist (Tony) and Neil and
J on guitar (and singing!)
SO, that's the group, I am not sure if another group is going to be onstage
too, with J in it? The night is going to be by invite only. J said a lot
of his friends already have a lot of the songs they will play on the night
on their MP3 players (which is brill). They are going to produce a cd
to give to people well before the gig in March 2009. It is a very very
big thing for J and Neil and even I am feeling nevous about it this far
away!!!!! I know there will be TONS of friends coming to it and family
(I hope).
J is 17 at the end of this month and can't wait to get doing driving lessons.
J
has decided he wants to repeat this year at school and has permission
to do so, therefore he will be in school for another 2 years, he has not
had the best year so far and realises he could have done far far better
(though I don't think he has done that badly) He will be staying the end
of the year and completing all course work and doing some of the exams.
I just want him to be happy and do well. He wants to go to University
and originally planned on having a GAP year (though if he did I said he
had to find a job for a year) between school (6th form) and Uni - I dunno
if he will have the GAP year now after being in 6th form for 3 years???
Not doing so good on the dieting - what's new!!!!!!!!!!
Me
trying to hula hoop! Managed 19 spins!!!!

Neil and R trying to hula! R is good at it, can't quite manage to keep
it going yet, but me and her are determined to do it. Now all we gotta
do is get J having a go too!!!!!!
R and I just now (6pm)

Sat 22nd March 2008
Went to mum and dads for a few hours,
J and R came along as well. J has hurt his ribs (messing round with a
bunch of lads). I asked him what he did, he said he (they) were running
at walls? Eh? How stupid is that? I know he's a teenager but come on.............
It's now almost midnight and where are
J and Neil - at the local hospital A&E. J was not able to lie down
or get comfy and was in a lot of pain - though things are always more
painful at night. We rang the out of hours and they said to go along to
A&E - so they have gone. R is fast asleep and I am still up waiting
for them to come back. I hope he's ok.
Neil
and J just got back from the hospital (12.10am). J has a cracked a few
ribs. They sent him home with a leaflet (on cracked ribs) and pain killers
and coedine phosphate (?). He has to make sure he breathes deeply (so
as to prevent lung infection developing). I'd give him a big hug but I
think that'd hurt.

Sunday 23rd March 2008
Happy Easter everyone.
Made a yummy dinner for us all and also made one for Neil's mum and dad
and took that up to them. Kids had plenty of Easter Eggs (might have had
a nibble or several!). Uggggggggg.....no more chocolate please!
J is still hurting obviously, but otherwise ok.
Am feeling very very horrid about my weight - ie feel very very FAT and
uncomfortable and why oh why does it have to all go round my middle? Spent
most of the day tidying R's room as her new bed came.
I HAVE to get my diet sorted out, I have to. My
sister Vanessa has been going to a local gym and looks like she is doing
well with losing weight. I know R and I have not even made a small attempt
at going to the gym for a long time. I feel I look so big, bigger than
I have done for a long long time.
Neil too, I know he is feeling BIG. When we went
for a meal the other night he really could have done with moving to another
table cos where we were placed was fixed seating and Neil said it was
a tight squeeze to get in and made eating the meal really uncomfy. |
