Actually from the front I do not look that bad. It's the side view that's the worst. Well, I had better do something about it then hadn't I.
Did have mini (big?) binge last night - last binge of the year! Neil has gone back to work today so it's just me and the kids. R no doubt will watch tv all day or have her head in a book the rest of the time. I said to her we either have to go for a nice walk later or go on the treadmill.

This was also taken 2003, I remember this skirt was a size 12 from Pilot and it kept falling down so in the end I could not wear it!!!!I think this is the sort of diet I need!!!!!!!

Did 20 minutes treadmill in the afternoon (with some running). Went shopping later on then went to Neil's brothers (as it is his birthday), then came home and had some party nibbles . Yuck, feel sick now! Not a lot on telly tonight. Wonder if we will all manage to stay up past midnight?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE - it's 12.35am in the morning and I have txt'd everyone I have the phone no to to wish them a Happy New Year, at one pont it would not send, I guess the network was jammed with everyone sending txt's.
Am just about to watch McFly on Most Haunted with Yvette Fielding. Kids managed to stay up and are actually still awake, I can see them both (and Neil and I) having a long lie in tomorrow.

Had a nice lie in. We are off to Kate's this afternoon (with Neil's mum and dad) - ex-sister-in-law. It is her birthday tomorrow nut unfortunately we cannot go round then.

I braved the scales and yep as I knew it, I have gained - 5 lbs. Phew, thought it would be much much more than that!

Cheers! Had a few teeney glasses of wine in ex-sister-in-laws along with her, her boyfriend Guy (v nice person) and Neils mum and dad and R of course. Kate also did a buffett which was nice so I had crackers/dips/crisps/mince pies Yummy!
May or maynot go on treadmill later. Or I just may chill out doing nothing as I have got to go to work tomorrow.

Only time I felt relaxed today was just after I got in from work and sat on the couch with R and had a laugh with her.

Work ok, went by pretty quick. It was freezing cold standing by the bus stop waiting to go home. Only half day today so R and I are staying in in the warmth.

Had branflakes for breakky and some rye bread with a griddled egg for lunch. I am quite glas we don't have any 'goodies' left in the house as I would find it very hard to resist. I always want comfort food when it is cold outside. I might buy some Options of Highlights drinks (low fat hot chocolate drinks) for when I need a small choccy fix.

I DID go n the treadmill last night, sis half an hour on it. We've got it here in the front room so we really should use it.

I really really want to weigh less on the scales next week. I know I need to concentrate on eating healthier. I am also pretty much going to give up wine (as we tend to have a drink most weekends) - time to have a rest from it, this will certainly help the weight loss!!!!

Neil's pretty much going to be following the Slimming World diet, this is what I lost my weight with originally. I might give it a go as it was easy to follow - as long as I don't feel too restricted! I am not eating any processed meats but will eat some meats when they are proper 'cuts' not the ones with added allsorts. It is amazing how much is added to joints of meat (ones you buy in the supermarket). I should eat more fish, though am very limited in what fish I will eat (not very adventerous with fish at all)
I haven't been eating much fruit and veg lately - so must make more of an effort with this.

Did well all day but badly in the evening, felt stressed. It's almost 11pm and I did not manage to go on treadmill, might go on it now, dunno?

Have come to bed instead as is now almost midnight and I am in work all day tomorrow. Will definately do treadmill tomorrow. I have made a quiche for my lunch tomorrow and will have branflakes for breakky (how exciting). R and I ARE going to brave the gym at the weekend - we truly are!!!!!

Some things I bought in the sales today (spent all of £23 - got 3 tops, 2 skirts and 2 little bags.

Think I might go back to the shop where I got the clothes from, on Monday and see if I can pick up some bargins for the summer (a few sizes smaller perhaps? The yellow tops is a size 12 but the other 2 are a 16.
I also got 2 long skirts which are really pretty (at £5 each).
Have discovered that my passport has not actually run out (till 2012) and it is 6 to 7 weeks now till I go to see Rachel in Kentucky for one week and I am so looking forward to it.
Sunday 6th January

Have not been particularly good this weekend (wine and chocolate!) but have been on and off the treadmill a few times (ok not often more than 15 mins a time but better than nothing!). R has been on it too and done very well.
I have submitted an application for R to join what is called MEND at a local school it's

R and I did not get back to the gym this weekend but we will get back there honest we will
