Monday 8th October

Arghghghghg feel pukey (am sick and tired of this). I just want to feel better. J is also off school headaches/feel yuck and aches and pains. What is it....the time of year?Got rid of the sinus pain now got upset tummy and wanna puke Arghghghghghg. Would go and lie down for the day but this will make me feel pukier.


Totally forgot about getting weighed this morning, never mind will get weighed tomorrow ( I am not avoiding it honest!)

4.30pm - Feel a little better. Had some plain noodles for lunch mind you they were 400 calories (why?), they were only the sort you add hot water too, very plain, bery boring - hardly looked like 400 calories.. Not sure what to have for tea tonight? J is still feeling crappy poor thing.
8pm - Think I must have a tummy bug as feel pukey again, arghghghghg.

 I really did not feel like getting on the scales (would have made me feel sicker). Plus I know by my wobbly tummy that I have gained weight. Son't have the energy or inclination to exercise though. I keep thinking about doing the Walk Away The Pounds dvd but the thought of it makes me feel worse.
J is off school again and has a Dr's appointment tonight. I am in work yomorrow, hope I feel better by then.
I don't know why, but I love sunshine on curtains, streaming through windows - it is so relaxing somehow. Can you see our ceramic 'Blackie' in the window!

 Managed to stay the same weight. Mmmm......ok I suppose.

Work ok. I'd bought some treat sized Milky Ways for R's party bags and in a fit of needing chocolate (as you do), I opened them and ate quite a few of them. Damn. Also we had cheese and onion crisps in (which I can live without cos I am not a huge crisp fan) but of course since we got them I ahve eaten Oooohhhhhh about 4 bags of them (not all at once). No wonder I am feeling it all round my middle.

Don't want to be this weight for Christmas, I don't. I don't want to be buying size 16's and 18's all the time.

R and I did the Walk Away The Pounds dvd (a 2 mile walk) and we are going to do it as often as we can, of course it's no substitute for going out and walking etc but better than nothing - it's exercise.

Was doing ok on food till we got back from Sainsburys, the thing is I wasn't even that hungry really. So what did I have
1 Mars icecream
Some french bread with mayo lite/pepper and lean ham
A handful of cracked pepper crackers

I suppose it's not a huge binge as such, but still way way too many calories. I feel very bloated and FAT and just blah.

 Thur 11th October

 

  Actually, am doing ok so far today as far as diet is concerned. I very briefly thought about getting up as soon as the alarm went off at 6.30am to do some exercise (ha!) but kept pressing the snooze button until 7am. R and I are going to do the Walk Away the pounds dvd later (again, we did it last night)
So, am as of 5.40pm - well under my cals for the day - let's hope it lasts. Made a yuumy beef stew for tea, bunged it all in the slow cooker this morning. Had an egg salad for lunch at work with a pac of low fat crisps - there you go - not too bad so far.

Arghghghghghgh how can my stomach be SO round? Even Neil and the kids are commenting. I used to be able to feel my hip bones (when I lay on my side of course) now even that doesn't work.
I am padded.that's the only description for it....padded. I'll put a photo up that was taken yesterday, I will, really I will and then you'll see. You might think it's the cushion or the top I am wearing is baggy - but no....it's me.

MMmmm I'm afraid to say I am about 240 cals over (it's just 20 past midnight).. I sat and watched a double episode of Greys Anatomy and had 2 packets of crisps and a big bowl of rice crispies and skim milk - again not a big binge but yet AGAIN too many cals for the day which will make me gain if I am not careful.

 Friday 12th October

HAPPY BIRTHDAY R.

 Hectic day. Work was ok (tiring, Fridays always are)
I actually got up at 6am when the alarm went off!!! R was up at 6.15am, she was excited about her birthday. We got her a DS lite and a High School Musical dance mat and J got her Pixel Chix babysitter thingie.
Went out for tea (groan..am SO bloated) then got home 8pm and Neil's mum and dad called round and so did Neil's brother and 2 kids (C who is 19 and D who is almost 17). They all stayed till about 9pm Mum rang to say she was not feeling too good so would not be coming down (I must say she did not sound well, I hope she is ok, she has a bad chest).
My sister Cheryl is coming tomorrow with her little girl Eve (who is a very sweet madam of 3 who talks non-stop). They are coming to R's Reptile Party at 10am tomorrow. Gotta get up early in the morning to do party bags and stuff.

Bought a pair of red jeans last week and they fitted ok, now I cannot get the damn things zipped up even when I lie down on the bed.

 Sat 13th October 2007  Me with a tarantula on my arm!!! R had a fantastic party today (Reptile party with cockroaches, lizards, snakes, tarantulas, scorpions etc). All the kids loved it. The snakes were a huge hit, in fatc the kids liked everything. There was a so so cute albino hedgehog. J took pics and kept well away when the snakes came out!!!!! R had this HUGE lizard on her knee. It was the best party EVER.

 Sunday 14th October

 

 Well, I was going to be so good today - but well, it's all gone out the window (last of the party food hey!)
Had a shake for brekky (as did not feel like eating), a sandwich and crisps for lunch and ok I admit it, I then nibbled LOADS of Milky Way stars and several lolipops. Should try and eat a healthy tea tonight. I do have some nice organic famr type tomatoe and basil soupd in the fridge (Tescos).
Neil is suffering with his back, it's hurting him a lot, but he has still taken R to play tennis (he said it might loosen his abck up a bit?).....Hmmmm, hopefully it it won't make it worse????
Got those palpitations again....I wonder? Last night I had several glasses of wine with the meal and at home.....could be conneced to this??/Think I had better give up alcohol completely for several months and see.
Should've gone to play tennis but really could not face it.
HAve now ordered the new kitchen and bought tiles and even got some new paint for the hall (will paint on Mon and Tue).the only bits I hate doing are the high bits cos it is next to impossible to reach them even with the ladders.
