Monday 1st October

Lost a lb this week....which is good but I am fed up of this lose one gain one all the time.

Got a headache, feel yuck, for some reason my nose is sore (sinus?) and have some mouth ulcers - other than that am totally fine.

Got my ears pierced again on Saturday, didn't hurt a bit, I have them done twice now. We went to Chester yesterday which was nice....cost me a fortune (got J a new hoody, new flippin guitar - he has 9 now, this is part of Xmas pressy)

Am planning on going to visit my friend Rachel after Christmas sometime, she lives in Kentucky. I am going by myself, just for a week. She is a lovely person whom I can't wait to meet (we have spoken on the phone and email often). As soon as I work out when is best for her and book it off at work I will book and pay for my flight (must remember to get a passport, my 10 yr one ran out 2 years ago).

There are lots of buildings like t his in Chester. You can walk round the Roman walls round Chester so next time (in a week or 3) we are going to do just that (me, the kids and Neil), it something I haven not done since I was little with mum and dad I think and Neil says he doesn't ever remember going round the walls when he was younger - it's something we HAVE to do.

I have a sinus infection and have anti-biotics from the Dr - oh great, just what I need. My nose has felt SO painful and tender and WHAT a splitting headache. Feels like someone has punched me in the nose. Well at least the ani-biotics should help. Am in work tomorrow.

Neil and I have been watching Life On Mars and I am hooked. We got it from Blockbuster and initially I did not want to watch it (not my type of thing) but it's fab and we are about to start the 2nd series.

Work ok despite my head hurting. Not going dancing tonight thoug as I think too much twisting and twirling around would not be such a good idea, will go on Friday night though.
R will be 10 soon, she is having a Reptile Party (at a local hall) - might have already mentioned this?
There'll be tarantulas, snakes, hissing cockroaches, frogs etc. Kind of like The Really Wild show. The kids are allowed to handle them, supervied by the handlers of course - though they don't have to if they don't want to. Apparently they go round schools etc and do these small party bookings. R seemed to love the idea. Might cure me of my fear of spiders!Now all I have to do is buy some stuff for party bags (at least 33 of them as R has invited the whole class, though a few have got back already and said they can't come) and have to decide what to feed them! Neil probably won't go as childrens parties are not his thing! Am lucky though cos some of the mums said they will stay.
On Sat we have to go back to Chester as J got a new guitar from the Music shop there and when he got home he discovered there are hairline cracks on the neck, I rang the shop and they said they will have a replacement there for us. So off we go again and R is coming too so we will get to walk around the walls at Chester this time (I'll take some pics).

Ow ow ow ow my head hurts. We don't have any pain killers in so Neil is getting some on his way home - hurry up Neil Arghghghghghg.

Sat 6th October

Came home from work yesterday as I felt so sick and horrid. Went to the Dr's who said it was a 'virus' - Dr's speak for he doesn't know. Well, I have the anti-biotics so have 4 days left of these. Thanksfully my nose feels better - still feel a bit crappy but slightly better (as I spent all day yesterday in bed). Didn't eat anythng all day as felt too sick but then ate rubbish in the evening thus ended up having too too many calories - no exercise either (will do when I feel better). I really missed dancing this week.

Neil and J gone to Chester, R and I were going to go but neither of us felt like it so. R is reading the Demon Headmaster to me.

Email is playing up again, damn.
J and Neil and J's cousin had band practise today, R and I were not in the mood to go. R and I made Dalek (Dr Who) biscuits instead.. Been ok with food today but only because I have not felt like eating, felt yucky instead,
Need some energy so I can do some exercise, though I did pull the tiles off the wall in the kitchen earlier today (I like doing stuff like this), half the paint came away from the wall too though (damn).....I think there's about 20 layers of paint on the wall (yes, I like painting).
Neil said band practise (for the 1850 Project) was good (at the Vulcan in Liverpool) with J and his cousin Chris. Next time R and I will go and be their audience! Neil too J and Chris out for tea afterwards (they had done 4 hours 'gig' practise), Neil did phone us beforehand to see if R and I wanted to come along for tea to the OK Diner, but I felt so yuck and R had just eaten I said no. Then when Neil got home he took R out to play tennis in the village (he took her yesterday too and said she was getting really good at it).
