MONDAY 2nd JULY

|
Could
not face getting weighed, yet again. This is becoming a habit - avoiding
getting weighed on a Monday morning. OK, I will face it tomorrow (if I
must)
ok, not the best
start to a dieting week - having breakfast out at Sainsburys....but what
the hell, oh I forgot, then we went to WKirby and had a scone and coffee
in a cafe - why you might ask? Well, I do not know
Am gonna cut out the bread this week (as I find this bloats me so). And
what else shall I do this week? Well,
I will aim to eat more fruit and veg and of course drink more water
I
do not want chocolate, I really do not want chocolate....I am not thinking
about chocolate and really and truly I can get by without it. It's 9pm
and the places to go and buy chocolate from are fast running out, more
to the point, if Neil does not go in the car and get some chocolate then
I simply cannot have any can I?

TUESDAY 3rd JULY

|
J had to go into school this
morning to 'sign out' and hand in all his text books. He said they had
to get the teachers to sign them off. He was given a 6th form pack (but
is not going there to 6th form) and that was that - goodbye school. No
thank you very much, hope you do well, nothing. He said he is not the
only one leaving, several are going to different 6th forms and some are
leaving to get jobs.
But no, all Calday Grammer School
did was give them a 6th form pack. When he got home he looked in it, in
case it had other stuff but it didn't. I think even Jonathan was dissapointed
that - that was that.
In the end ok, I did have chocolate
last night - shared a pack (ok big pack) of Minstrels with Neil) and then
I just might have had 2 lots of sandwiches while watching Material Girl
(Hilary Duff film etc). No wonder I felt bloated and yuck this morning
- hence the avoiding scales again. I did do 20 minutes on the step though,
last night whilst Neil went to Blockbuster.
What
is it with Blackie? She LOVES coffee. I daren't leave a cup on the furniture,
even HOT coffee. She loves it. When the coffee is lukewarm she will spend
ages dipping her paw in and enjoying her coffee fix!

Wed 4th JULY 2007
Weight - 10 st 2 lbs
(142 lbs)
Stayed the same YET again

|
I am trying to eat more fresh foods and to avoid
processed foods - not always easy (especially when you have very few ££'s
and is not pay day yet, but still.
I eat very little red meat nowadays and rarely eat processed meats such
as sausages (no longer eat bacon as have gone off it).
I do eat wafer thin meats but am trying to eat less of these.
Neil's idea of a kids diet is chicken nuggets, sausages, tins of meatballs,
pizza and such. Yes, I know a lot of kids eat these often. But I do not
want R and J eating them too often. I am a little hampered by the fact
that Neil dislikes veggies/salads/raw foods etc. Though he has changed
his tastes a bit. Last night he ate some mixed veg (baked) though these
were ready prepared and a little high in fat....but, better than nothing.

A big part of eating healthier is being organised, planning meals and
buying the right ingredients to make the healthier meals - and lately
I have not really done a lot of this.
So
I am going to think more about what I am buying and make an effort to
do healthier meals - damn and blast, what can we have for tea tonight?
(don't have a lot in)
Am doing 2 hours dancing tonight!
I
have eaten better today -
Bfast - No sugar muesli with Skim milk
Lunch - Sweetcorn and ham omelete and 0%
greek yogurt
Tea - New potatoes, chicken and veg and low
fat lemon greek yogurt.
So, not too bad, have no idea what it is in calories
though?
I
dunno about dancing, I could just go to sleep. I think I may be ultra good
though and go downstairs and go on the step for a bit, that'll either wake
me up or totally knacker me! I AM still going dancing at 8pm though (till
10.20pm) - at the moment it is 6pm. |
Friday
6th JULY
|
Long day in work...am home now, phew. Am going
to do 2 hours dancing tonight, I did 2 hours on Wed night and really enjoyed
it
Have been ok on diet (SO FAR) today.
Bfast - Porridge and skim milk
Lunch - Chicken, rocket/watercress salad, tomatoes, pepper, spring onion
and celery and then a 0% greek yoghurt and an apple
Tea - Mixed veg and gammon, but I did have the remains of the crusts of
R's garlic bread unfortunately.
Friday
night always feels like it ought to be a 'treat' night, well I think it
does. You know, where you can indulge in anything you want cos it's the
weekend and also because you have been so very very good during the week
(haven't you??)
But alas.....I have not been 100% on my diet this last week.
Awwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhh, a lady had a bundle of little kittens she was bottle
feeding to get them stronger (pic from Internet).
Right, back to food..... arghghghghghghg, chocolate.
On another note - I found this web site which
I think looks really interesting called
Vegetarian Organic Organic Life Blog - I will be reading through this
bit by bit.

us, we had a really nice time and a 1/2 hour trip on a canal boat too.
J did not come cos he was out with a friend. We are planning on going
to Chester Zoo next weekend (just R and I and maybe J if he has no other
plans).
R and I sitting in a canal boat.
My socks,
which I think are cool! but would not go out in them (well, I might if
I was 30 yrs younger!)
