.Mum and dad have a caravan at the bottom of the garden that the kids play in.

Some pics taken at mums and dads at the weekend. It was very hot and sunny and we had such anice time. Saturday night we went over to my sisters (she lives over the road from mum and dad (with hubby Ken and 2 kids Dale and Matty (17 and 14). At my sister we had a bar-b-q which was nice (peppered pork, chinese style steaks, salad etc oh and wine of course). Then we walked back over to mums at about 9.30pm
J sitting on the garden swing with Millie (mum and dads little Jack Russell dog - she is such a lovely dog, so sweet and friendly.

Mum and dad keep the garden really nice it is so pretty and quite large. I always find it really relaxing when we go there. This is where we moved to when I was 8 or 9 and I lived here till I left (and married Neil) in 1990.

Millie sunbathing on the garden swing - mum said she loves hopping on here and getting it swinging and having a snooze in the sun!

I have managed to lose a lb. It is good to see the numbers going lower! Just a lb a week would be great, I would be happy with that.

I have decided to follow the Slimming World Plan since this is what I losr my weight with originally. I feel motivated and ready. I went to the diabetic clinic today, was ok, though my blood pressure was up a bit so I now have to take more ace-inhibator. Also I HAVE got to lose some weight, I've got to.
We got R's trampoline put together but discovered the bottom bit (the supports) are very bent and make it unstable. The trampoline got blown away in the strong winds and obviously damaged. I was so cheesed off about this as I too was looking forward to using it. Anyway we are managing to replace it (more money I know) but I think it is very important - R and I can both get good use out of it.

We found that a gym not too far from us does a fmaily package and they have part of the gym for families and children over the age of 7 can use specially designed gwym equipment (cross trainer, treadmill, etc). The one proviso of it is that the parent or parents have to exercise alongside their child too. Neil is even interedted. So I have emailed them for price. In truth we cannot afford it but if it helps us get fitter (and lose weight) as a family, then this is good.

Telephoned the gym and they said unfortunately they did not have the Junior Gym (but Chester did - too far for us though for ease). They said they were wanting one and to telephone back in a few months. Ah well. Kids and I ate tea outside in the sun....a little picnic which was nice. Almost 6.45pm, Neil not home yet. It is so lovely out I feel we ought to go for a walk, but Neil will be too tired and R has quite a bit of homework to do (shoulda done it earlier).

I have done quite well on the 'diet' today. I have stuck to the plan and feel quite pleased with myself. I just wish I had been more active today and not been totally lazy (napping!).......ah well, can't do too many good things at once can I?!

 Tuesday 1st May

Been drinking mre water today, but unfortunately this has made me need to go to the loo a lot.

Another lovely sunny day. I am not going to sit around doing nothing. I tried Blackie with her harness on this morning (so we can take her out in the garden), she really did not like it. I feel mean putting her through the stress of it, but if she could just get used to it she might like little trips out into the garden in the nice weather.

Did 20 minutes on the step in the morning. R and I are going to go out in the garden after school. I am still feeling quite positive.

Had a walk to the shops in the evening with J, a pretty brisk 40 minute walk. Rightly or wrongly I 'borrowed' a B choice from tomorrow's choices (2 toast) and had some quavers (9 syns which I have also added to tomorrow). Twiddling around with the syns is ok, but you are not meant to 'borrow' B choices.

I just got hungry at night and had 2 toast, I could easily have had another 2 slices but resisted.

All in all an ok day, though I feel as though I have overeaten somewhat.

 Wed 2nd May

Ok day at work....very sunny out. R has friend round to tea so they played out in garden (and on trampoline which is the old one, pretty stable but we are unable to put the safety net on it cos one of the poles is badly bent)

I am going line dancing tonight, our teacher Chris is coming along, we are all there to support her.

I am planning on walking halfway to work tomorrow and at lunchtime I am going to go for a 15/20 minute brisk walk - my manager Anju said she would come along too (also other might?) O think when the weather is nice and we are able we should do this as often as we can.

Today I did 25 side bends, 100 knee lifts while in the office at work, then went for a 20 minute walk at lunch time with Leslie (Orthoptist). It was lovely and sunny and we enjoyed a brisk walk - I am going to aim to do this every Thur and Friday lunchtimes.

R and I bounced on the trampoline for 20 minutes early evening.

Friday 4th May  Walked halfway to work. Then had a brisk 15/20 minute walk at lunchtime with my Manager Anju and Orthoptist Kay - it was a lovely walk. THEN I actually walked home from work (though felt really knackered). DId spoil it a bit by having tea at Sainsburys (sausage, bacin, eggs and chips)..then ate a snickers bar - arghghghgh.
I did 2 hours damcing this evening and I really enjoyed - our class teacher Chris is so so lovely (she recently lost her hubby who was also a lovely man).
Feel really tired now - am going to be naughty and have a few glasses of wine!!!! We are planning on going our for a long walk tomorrow.

 Saturday 5th May

9.20am....it looks like another sunny day

I got some new glasses (online), actually it was Janey (link front page) who showed them, they were on a web site for £19 and I really liked them. They came in 2 to 3 days.

We were thinking about going to Moel Famau today (North Wales).
Mole Famau
I would have liked to go to Llandudno today but we have very little money and if we go there, we end up doing some shopping! I was going to pack a big picnic and we were going to go to Meol Famau and spend the day walking and hopefully enjoying ourselves!
Well it's 9.40am and everyone is still asleep. It doesn't take long to get to Meol Famau so maybe if I get everyone in gear we might get there today (as rain is forecast for tomorrow).

I only had 2 glasses of wine last night - we did start watching a film Employee of The Month (comedy) but I feel asleep.

I am going to be as good as I can be on my diet this weekend - I So much want to have a loss on the scales on Monday, so much.

We didn't get out except to go to the supermarket. I really wanted to go for a drive then a long walk, spend the day/afternoon walking having fun. No such luck. Neil obviously did not want to go (does he ever ?)

Sunday 6th May

I'll try and get everyone to go for a walk today, I hope we do. Well at least they have gotten up earlier (it's 8.30am), well except for J, he is not up yet. It is not sunny out there, maybe it will be later. I don't mind what the weather is like.

Apparently my sister and her hubby and 2 kids (age 6 and 9) are staying in a campsite for the bank holiday weekend, a campsite just down the road from us. Or so mum says. Not that theyd'd contact me to say hi or anything. I love all my sisters n all ( I have 3 all younger than me) but they never ever phone me or visit. I know people have their own lives to lead but, ah well.
