Monday 7th September (Starting Slimming World today)
Neil in work, J in college, R in school - me? Going to get weighed!!!!

It wasn't as bad as I thought it might be!!!!! Also the first week, well, you always weigh more!!!!! I actually enjoyed it (sucker for punishment). Judith and I came back here and had a few cups of coffee and chatted about hwo good we are going to be on the SW diet plan. Next week we are going to go for a walk afterwards too.

We did all (all 4 of us) go for a walk round the lake, it was really nice.Very relaxing. Thats makes 7 days walking!
I was totally on plan today for slimming world, have come to bed (almost) feeling very happy with myself. I have made a pan of qourn mince with tomatoes (with basil and garlic) with added courgette and onion - that's for tomorrow tea. I have a gorgeous salad to make for lunc tomorrow (cottage cheese, peppers, carrot-cabbage mix (ie homemade coleslaw) and tomatoes and will have this with Hmmmmm.......not sure actually. will decide in the morning. Am going to cook healthy and delicious dishes for us and the kids - we gotta get healthier. J has a chart in his room with tick boxes for each day
1 No pepsi Max
2 Half hour walk
3 Sit-ups
4 Ab crunches
5 Press - Ups
6 Weights
7Minimum pizza!

and so on and so on - he is ticking the boxes - which is BRILLIANT, am very proud of him.

 Tuesday 8th September

Followed the SW plan really well today. Neil and I did a half hour walk round the lake in the wind and rain tonight!

 Friday 11th September

Been very good on SW plan so far and finding it very easy to follow, which is good. Went dancing Wed night for 2 hours. Neil and the kids and I are having a meal out later and a walk yes round the lake! Rhi having a few teething problems at school (lack of friends) but after talking to teachers hopefully this will improve.
J in college and is doing ok and looking to put in for his theory (driving) soon as possible ie now and then to take his driving test in November or sooner.

Got weighed in work this morning and had stayed the same ok I guess. But get weighed in SW on Monday which is the one that counts at the moment. Weirdly I weigh 10 st 4 lbs at work (144 lbs) and 10 st 13.5 lbs (153.5 lbs) lbs at SW and I get weighed in the morning at both???????? Ah well.

J, R and I are off to Liverpool tomorrow as J needs new shoes as does R as her are giving her blisters (poor thing) and they blummin cost £22 - trouble is we got them from Cheshire Oaks (outlet village) and no longer have the receipt and they didn't come in a box, just off the shelf - they are Clarks ones? Bugger. But she can't be having shoes that give her blisters so we getting a new pair tomorrow. Poor J has not had new shoes for AGES and needs new ones (oe Vans)

So we are going on the bus tomorrow which will be nice as mostly I like going shopping with J and R (when they son't say "I want Iwant" too much which as a rule they don't - as long as I feed and water them (ie cafe) they will be happy!

 

Saturday 12th September

Arghghg my feet are hurting me. Went to Liverpool at 8.30am on the bus with J. Had really nice day there. J got a hat (cap - baseball type) for arghghghghghghghg £25...............
He also got t-shirt (5 for £50 - pretty good) and shoes from Shu £42 - also pretty good. So is kitted out now. To be fair we rarely give him ££ for clothes and he was in great need of new stuff. But the baseball cap - am still in shock!

Ate breakfast in our fave city cafe, had a cup of tea in a mall (precinct) and went in tons of shops. It's very good for people watching is Liverpool. J saw some of his friends there at lunchtime as that is when they seem to surface.

Have to go get R a new pair of school shoes now......

Oh yeah the breakfast was ok for SW diet (all free food) and that is all I have eaten today (is now 3.20pm)

 

 Sunday 13th September 2009

J and Neil are off to Liverpool today to band practise (along with Chris and Dan ).R and I are going to chill out and I will do some tidying too. Later today we will all go for a walk I think.

Been v good on diet plan so far, a few times where I almost ate stuff I didn't mean to but have counted everything in. Made leek and potato soup for later.

Got v stressed earlier as R and I argued about going to my mum n dads house (ie she didn't want to go) - has taken me till now to calm down! So, we did not go to mum n dads as you can see. Am in middle of blitzing house (is v in need of it) and R is playing a game on J's x-box. Later we will cuddle and watch a film (maybe) and when J and Neil get home we are off to Heswall for a walk as J wants to see about an evening job in Heswall.

WOW can you believe it, J has lost an amazing 15 lbs in not much more than 2 to 3 weeks. He has been eating SO healthily, doing execise EVERY day and I can tell he is feeling MUCH better and seems so much happier. He suggested we walk to Heswall later. Now all I gotta do is work on getting R chilled out, relaxed and calm - she is up and down like a yoyo

I would say when we all go out for a walk we all feel so much better and relaxed, so we will do this more often, definately.

Oh yeah, went to meditation session at work on Thursday (been before ) anyway, must continue to go each week as I find it does help.
