Monday 14th September
Getting weighed at Slimming World today.

Fab original song by J (all his own work)

Had lovely walk along Hoylake prom and then we went round the Lake at WK again, inbetween we called at The Green Lodge and had tea there - I had a yummy goats cheese salad, I did not have dessert!

It's 8am, J went to college at 7.30am, R gone to meet a friend in the village and Neil gone to work. I am off to Slimming World at 9am. Arghghghghg......too scared to step on the scales. I think I have stuck to the plan 100% but of course you can sometimes over/underestimate what you have eaten. We shall see.

Well, I got weighed and have lost 2 lbs wihch is great (I did eat out 3 times this last week!), WELL DONE to Judith who lost an AMAZING 6.5 lbs WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got some meat from the butchers to make a yummy recipe
Lamb chopc
Pearl barley
Carrots
Onion
Tomatoes (or passata)
Stock (1 or 2 pints of)
Swede
All placed in the slow cooker to cook for ages till done! A yummy stew. Also bought some Syn Free sausages! I really enjoyed the meeting today, made me feel good and like I CAN DO IT. Also it has made me think about cooking again, some yummy stuff for the whole family.

 Tuesday 15th Sept

Dad in hospital (had 2 heart attacks) been there all today and last night. Tired, don't want to update much now, at the moment. More later

 Wed 16th September

Dad has been sent home, he is stable on meds. He has an echogram at the end of the month and his 'team' of Dr's at the hospital are apparently having a meeting soon about what the plan with him is? They did say the other day that there is nothing they can do now, no bypass etc? We are going to mum n dads Friday night. Spoke to him on the phone earlier.

Been o on SW plan, not eating loads, not felt like it. Actually did an hours dancing tonight, too tired for 2 hours! Went to work this morning, that was ok, back in tomorrow as per usual. J has his 2nd gastroescopy tomorrow, Neil is taking him, he is going to have it done un-sedated. Wish I could be there too but can't cos of work.

 Saturday 19th September

I have 6 weeks till I go to Hayling Island - can I lose 20 lbs by then? OK, I will aim for about 12.

Neil picked me up from work yesterday at 5pm with the kids and we all went to mum n dads. Dad had lots of visitors. He looks much better but looked so tired towards the end of the evening when we were leaving - mind you mum looked totally knackered too she really did. I saw one of my cousins Melanie who I have not seen for many many years - she has not changed a bit.

We were very naughty and called for late meal on way home as we were all starving hungry - I had a breakfast (yes at 9pm)

The Green Lodge pub/hotel where we ahd tea, this is from the back, is much grander looking from the front, a few people from school J knows work there.

 Sunday 20th September

We went and had a sandwich at Sands Cafe West KIrby then we all walked round the marine lake, there was lots of people out cos the weather is so nice. Then we went to Grange Hill and Neil and I walked up to the War Memorial and walked on the hill for a bit then we all came home. J had a double driving test today - he is doing his theory test on 15th October and aiming to take his driving test in November.

I have no idea how I will do on the scales at Slimming World in the morning. I was very naughty and had some wine last night oh and earlier on same evening I had some popcorn!!! It's been a funny week all in all, I don't think I overate at the beginning of the week at all, what with dad going in hospital etc.
I shall keep my fingers crossed for a small loss at least. I only have 6 weeks to go till I go away and I DON'T WANT to be this weight then if it can be helped.
