Monday 2nd Feb
We have snow
R before
school this morning.
8am
this morning, can you see where the car had been parked! We have more snow
forcast for today and tonight.
Walked R to the corner of the road as she was meeting William to walk to
school with. He had 2 snowballs hidden and got R and I with them! Think
I might snowball R when I meet her from school later!!!!!!
My
hair the other night, OMG it was the most horrid colour, kind of yellowey
orange! Mind you it's not much better now, well, a bit better! Hmmmmm.
Might go for a walk in the snow later, I only walked to the corner this
morning and it was actually quite nice if cold. They say we have more snow
to come, we do not have it as bad as down South (London etc).
Here is the snow on the walk home from school about 20 minutes ago, not
enough to build a snowman really but some for a few snowballs! I think all
the kids are hoping for more tomorrow. I walked to get R and it was snowing
and although it was cold it was so pretty and all the snowflakes kept landing
in my eyes and mouth!

Thursday 5th Feb
We still have a little bit of snow around, we may get
more, not sure.
WHoo hooo I have lost a lb this week.
Neil's mum has gone into a care home for up to 4 weeks to help her get
mobile and more independant. It must be very strange for her since her
and Bill have never been apart. I don't think she'll want to be there
but it is important since she cannot move/stand or do anything for herself.
We are going to see her tonight. J is going into the hospital as a day
case for a gasteroscopy later today. He will be sedated for it, Neil is
taking him then I am joinging them with R. Am off to work in about an
hour as per usual. It's cold brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........
Guess
what....bought myself some honey. Not the decent costly stuff unfortunately
but what the heck. Have never tasted honey. Wanted the dear stuff, but
too too costly, anyway am not going to eat it. Nope.
It's for my face.
It needs it!
It's good for it - apparently.
I have this new fab book called Passport to Beauty see.
It's Secrets and Tips from Around the World for Becoming a Global Goddess!!!!!!!!!!
At the moment I consider myself to be a knackered, old looking (sometiems)
tired looking goddess!
.....Polish women apply honey to their faces as
an intensive moisturizer. Just a thin layer does the trick. This sweet
golden goo's firming and moisture-retaining properties make it very popular.
It helps to protect the skin from the damage of UV rays. Warm a small
amount of honey and apply to your face, leave for 15 minutes then wash
off. A little sticky but the benefits are worth it......
And it's good for your hair too.
..........A South African hair treat, this hair mask really gives your
hair body and shine.........
Honey Hair Mask
2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 and a half tablespoons of honey and one
egg yolk.
Mix together, smooth on hair, cover with a shower cap and leave for 30
minutes - shampoo hair and use your normal conditioner.
More beauty tips to follow ok!!!!!!!!!

Another
snow pic from the other day (our house and car in the snow). It's pretty
much all gone now, the snow.
JD
with a bambam (I think it's called?). Yesterday I got a FABULOUS package
from Dorinda, my bestest friend in Canada. The kids enjoyed the sweeties
and Dorinda sent the most gorgeous necklace, wow it's SO lovely. I wore
it to dancing last night and everyone commented on it>
Isn't it so sweet and cute, I love it. THANK YOU DORINDA
R
with a sweetie Dorinda sent. The package was lovely, with gorgeous little
gifts in it
Here I am with my honey face mask on the other night holding my little
Tigger toy and his Honey stick. I must say the honey made my skin very
soft, so I shall keep usuing it once or twice a week or when I want to
pamper myself. Next I am going to do the hair mask. Am also going to try
the mayonaise on my hair, just plain mayo - this is meant to be brill
for your hair too.
